At Augusta Jewellery, we are deeply committed to the environment and continually strive to improve our practices.
We take pride in ensuring that all of our jewellery and packaging are completely plastic-free. Our promotional postcards are crafted from FSC-certified paper, and our gift boxes and packaging are made from recycled cardboard. The FSC label ensures that the materials come from responsibly managed forests, where tree harvesting is balanced with nature’s ability to regenerate. This helps protect wildlife and plant life. ETHICAL GEMSTONES
At Augusta Jewellery, we are committed to using materials that are ethically and responsibly sourced.
We work with trusted suppliers who share our values. Most of the gemstones in our collection are chosen for their origin in countries with strict labour and environmental standards, such as Larvikite and Labradorite from northern regions like Canada, Finland, and Norway. Some gemstones are sourced from various locations around the world so when selecting a supplier, we always ensure that workers are paid fairly and protected by health and safety regulations. We avoid using gemstones that have a history of unethical practices (such as Jade, Coral, Malachite, or Lapis Lazuli from Afghanistan).
If we ever have concerns about a supplier’s ethics, we immediately cease our relationship with them.
